British-born Sam Wills is one of the most exciting voices in the UK soul and R&B movement, known for his enticing blend of rich vocals, intricate production, and timeless songwriting.

His debut album Breathe, released in summer 2021, has amassed over 400 million streams worldwide. The breakout single “Traingazing” became a viral hit on TikTok and Instagram, cementing Sam’s place as a rising star with global appeal.

Sam has performed at major festivals including Cross The Tracks, El Dorado, and The Great Escape, and has sold out headline shows across London at venues such as Lafayette, Colours Hoxton, and the Jazz Cafe. He’s also toured with the likes of Jordan Rakei, Jamie Cullum, and Tom Misch, earning a reputation as a captivating live performer.

As a sought-after producer, writer and vocalist, Sam has collaborated with a diverse roster of acclaimed artists including Jorja Smith, Disclosure, Jordan Rakei, SG Lewis, Lucky Daye, Tom Misch and many more.

Following time in the studio throughout 2023 and 2024, Sam is now gearing up to release his highly anticipated sophomore album, due in September 2025. The first single, We Both Know, is set for release this spring and marks a bold new chapter in his musical journey. Initially evolving from a chance encounter on Soundcloud between frontman/guitarist Fatboy and producer Cillian McCauley, Bricknasty expanded to a fully fledged physical band with the introduction of Dara Abdurahman (bass), Korey Thomas (drums) and Louis Younge (sax/keys). From infectious energy and soulful chords to soft, woozy vocals, together Bricknasty’s music effortlessly traverses RnB, neo soul, jazz and psych citing influences such as D’Angelo, MF Doom, and Timbaland. As the members have flourished, so too have their songs, with each individual contributing to both existing demos and the wider texture of the collective’s identity and vision. Their obvious harmony and musical synchronicity as a band extends to their live shows too, which have caused a groundswell of word-of-mouth buzz in Dublin and beyond.

Central to Bricknasty’s story is frontman & guitarist Fatboy’s experiences growing up in the Dublin suburb of Ballymun, a district known for its social problems including unemployment, high crime rates and drug abuse, heavily associated with Dublin’s heroin epidemic in the 80s and 90s. With external prejudices further nourishing this notoriety, its residents were rarely granted the opportunity to present their own perspectives. “There was loads in the news at the time about Ballymun and the type of people who lived there”, reflects Fatboy,“But anyone what lived in them flats at that time will tell you they were unreal to live in and the sense of community was very strong.” Raised between two of the towers known as the Ballymun Flats,

Fatboy’s home was the reluctant poster child for the area’s infamy. Built in the early 1960s to serve the city’s swelling population, the group of high rises were unceremoniously demolished in the early 2000s to make way for new developments. The trade off for this ‘regeneration project’ was the dispossession and displacement it left in its wake.

An electric live band and a vessel of the burgeoning jazz, hip-hop & improv scene from Budapest, Jazzbois have been making waves internationally with their cosmic, beat-heavy, jazz and groove.

Whilst spiritually connected to the jazz fusion masters of the past like Azymuth, Chick Corea and Weather Report, the new fusionists have a distinctly modern edge, taking inspiration from contemporaries like Yussef Dayes, Moses Boyd, Robert Glasper and Madlib.

Backed by the likes of Soulection, Gilles Peterson's Brownswood, and more, the group are swiftly on the ascendence.

This special event in London is powered by JAZZx, a festival at the forefront of the European jazz scene. Now at its 14th edition, JAZZx has attracted artists with over 130 Grammy Awards combined. Elusive London based 3-piece Night Tapes today announce their anticipated debut album portals//polarities, which will be released via Nettwerk Music Group on September 26th. The band also today share new single pacifico and announce plans for a UK tour, including a headline show at London's Village Underground.

Most bands would say their music is a product of their environment, but it’s true for none more than Night Tapes. On the London trio’s extraordinary, dazzling debut album, portals//polarities, the band take you inside the places and sounds of its creation around the globe. Across the album, you’ll hear a bubbling swamp in Tallinn, Estonia, wildlife and birdsong from Mexico, a Los Angeles police helicopter and more. It’s a deeply immersive and wildly exploratory first full statement from a unique and thrilling act.

Mixing personal and political, Night Tapes' music thrives on humanity and connection. Making music together in a shared house in south east London, the songs of Iiris Vesik, Max Doohan and Sam “Richie” Richards had to be quiet to avoid disturbing neighbours. “It was about capturing the vibe of the house,” Vesik remembers, then realising that the songs “became time capsules of the different places we were.” For Richards, each song comes with a specific and clear memory of the surroundings in which it was created. “It feels like a flipbook of that time,” he says.

“The album is an exploration of energies and an exploration into my soul. I go into the spectrality of my being and into different polarities within myself. I would like to understand myself and to understand relationships I have with myself and others because I’m trying to change the small things in order to tackle the big ones. I’m just trying to be as honest as possible because lies are prisons. I’m from a country that used to be under authoritarian rule. I am really grateful to have been born in a free country and I value freedom above most things,” Estonian-born Iiris, who was in the womb during the Singing Revolution that freed her country, says of the record.

Three electronic producers with a penchant for analogue, Night Tapes exist in a world that is dreamy and widescreen with plenty of bite. Debut single Forever now sits on 10 million streams on Spotify and became an underground hit through the pandemic. Traditional song structures often handbrake turn into dissonant noise or extended ambient sections, blurring the lines between band and studio project in new and exciting ways.

With portals//polarities, they have made an album that dreams big but is defined by how daringly human and real it is, capturing once-in-a-lifetime moments and happy accidents to make music that feels truly, beautifully alive.

North West London's Qendresa is a multi-faceted singer, songwriter, producer and DJ.

Her often self-produced, electronic tinged soul music pays homage to her affinity for the hip-hop and R&B that soundtracked her formative years, with inspiration coming from the grime golden era, the UK rap scene, as well as stalwarts like Sade and Mariah Carey.

Co-signed by the likes of Lil Yachty and Daniel Kaluuya, Qendresa comes to embody the melting pot that is London. Whether her place as a result of the Kosovan diaspora or the position she’s carved out in the city’s music scene, she sits comfortably whether it’s gliding over a 808-laden track or floating over an 80’s R&B rhythm.

Fusing traditional Galician instruments and vocals through the contemporary aesthetics of techno, house, and bass, Baiuca is at the helm of a pioneering, global dance music project.

An immersive audio-visual live performance, at the centre of the equation, Baiuca will be operating traditional instruments and, at the same time, synthesisers and programming. He is also accompanied by some of the most prestigious Galician musicians.

He is joined by Xosé Lois Romero on traditional percussion and cantareiras-pandereteiras, Alejandra and Andrea Montero (members of famous Galician folk groups such as Lilaina or Aliboria).

The live performance is completed with the visuals made live by the experimental filmmaker Adrián Canoura, in charge of practically all of Baiuca's aesthetic imagery.

Anyone familiar with electronic music will know Mechatok, aka Emir Timur Tokdemir. He made his name touring globally and releasing a series of records and collaborations with some of the most forward-thinking artists of the past decade, from Drain Gang (Bladee, Ecco2k, Whitearmor, Thaiboy Digital) to Charli XCX to Lorenzo Senni. Often subtle in delivery, these works circulated widely across underground and adjacent mainstream scenes, subtly shaping the direction of experimental pop and club music.

The driving force behind the zesty house sound, Omar+ is spearheading a new wave in UK deep and tech house. With tunes alongside the likes of Chris Stussy, Luke Dean, and bullet tooth, and support from heavyweights like Rossi, Josh Baker and Max Dean, he’s carving out a lane entirely his own.

Having graced stages from Ibiza’s clubland to Junction 2, Omar+ is also known as one of the scene’s most exciting selectors, armed with a deep vault of unreleased tracks that often get a spin during his live sets.

His collaboration with Josh Baker, “Back It Up,” released on Baker’s Dozen, perfectly captures his style: crisp tech-house rhythms, R&B-infused vocals, and irresistible energy… just a taste of what you can expect on the night.

Village Underground is a renovated turn-of-the-century warehouse in the heart of Shoreditch, east London. Featuring cutting-edge club nights and a stage that’s home to the best new and emerging talent alongside world-class artists, it’s been a mainstay of the east London nightlife scene for 15 years and counting. Starting life as affordable studio spaces for artists, situated in the hollowed out trains on top of the venue, where the team and a community of creatives are still based today. Part arts-venue, part creative community, it’s a space that remains defiant, forward-thinking and fiercely independent.
