Our venue is fully wheelchair accessible with step free access, although some assistance would be required to enter and exit the venue which is through 2 sets of double fire doors in the bar area. You can add an accessibility ticket onto your original ticket by going to dice.fm/contact.

Is accessible seating available?

Free PA and Carer tickets can be added onto an existing ticket by reaching out to dice.fm/contact. If possible please request these as soon as possible after purchase of your original ticket to ensure availability. These spots are limited for sold out events.

How do I get a carer/PA ticket?

Unless stated, there is just one set with no support, these are usually shorter than your average headline set. They’re between 30-50 minutes, playing songs from the new release. There is an hour between the door time and the stage time.

How long is the show and is there a support act?

Sometimes this is possible, sometimes not. It all depends on if we have extra stock on the night!

Can I upgrade my CD to an LP or the other way around on the night?

We want everyone to enjoy their moment at these special intimate events. Although this is solely at the discretion of the artist or their management, there may be some cases where they don’t want photos.

If there is a signing at the event, can I have a photo with the artist?

This is purely at the discretion of the artist and management.

If there is a signing at the event, can I bring other stuff to get signed?

Yes! We will always aim to get all event orders signed. Although this sometimes depends on the artist's schedule. We keep event stock for 1 week before returning it to our warehouse. If you can’t pick it up within a week please contact the store of your event.

I can’t attend the show! Can I still get my record signed?

When you arrive, a member of staff will scan your ticket and give you your pre-order upon entry. In some cases the album will be shipped and there will be a print to be signed instead. You won’t be able to collect the album on the way out after the event.

Where do I pick up my album?

The doors and set times are listed on your DICE ticket and on the DICE event. This differs from store to store.

How do I know when it starts?

Unfortunately no, if general entry/free entry tickets aren’t listed there is no way to buy a ticket without an album.

I don’t have a CD/Record player, can I just buy a ticket for the gig?

Rough Trade Nottingham's venue is on the first floor. We are lift accessible if you want an alternative. Just speak to a member of Rough Trade staff or security upon arrival, we will show and help you access the space.

Join us at Rough Trade Nottingham for Revenge of Calculon’s CASINO FIGHT! EP launch party! Full live performance and signing with support from Nottingham’s beatboxing rapper and hip-hop legend Motormouf.

Limited edition copies of the EP on 10” translucent purple violet and a complimentary Calculon casino chip available on the night.

Funkatronic Luchadors Revenge of Calculon bring a big dose of lo-fi beats, sleazy bass grooves and enough old fashioned synth squelch to satisfy even the most hungry of space funk explorers.

Their space-funk adventures have seen them release a bumper collection of 7” vinyl and their debut LP MANIPULATOR, launched in 2024 at Rough Trade records Nottingham and Lucky Records Reykjavik, receiving regular airplay on BBC introducing shows. Their live shows have included some weird appearances at ComicCon, Sci-fi London festival, some random dude’s yard party, and their now legendary annual shows at Iceland Airwaves festival.

They recently appeared on the IS THIS WHAT WE WANT?, “12 tracks of silence” anti-AI protest LP alongside Damon Albarn, Public Service Broadcasting, Kate Bush and Mystery Jets.

Indie newcomers Fright Years head to Nottingham on Friday 27th February for a headline show at Rough Trade.

2025 has been a breakout year for Fright Years. From a euphoric set at TRNSMT Festival in Glasgow to a BBC Introducing session at Maida Vale, the Scottish indie-rock four-piece have quickly established themselves as one of the UK’s most exciting new acts. With regular BBC Radio 1 airplay, TV placements and a run of sold-out Scottish headline shows, the band are fast earning a reputation for turning raw emotion into widescreen, heart-swelling anthems.

Built around frontwoman Juliette Kelly’s commanding voice - powerful, dynamic, and unflinchingly honest - Fright Years craft emotive, cinematic indie rock that feels both intimate and immense.

Their debut EP, Still Life, recorded with acclaimed producer Theo Verney (Lime Garden, English Teacher), earned critical acclaim for its honesty and ambition. Centred on Juliette’s reflections on loss and grief, the record transforms deeply personal experience into something universal and cathartic. Its standout track, “Stars”, has become a fan favourite – a beacon of resilience that captures exactly what Fright Years do best: melancholy wrapped in melody, heartbreak turned into hope.

**Micah P. Hinson**

After a period of deep personal and artistic transformation, Texas troubadour Micah P. Hinson returns to move his audience with Oh, Sleepyhead. The new single, out June 13th on all digital platforms via Ponderosa Music Records, available for pre-save and radio rotation, previews his upcoming album The Tomorrow Man, due this fall.

Written during one of the most intense and vulnerable moments of his life, the song is a response to an inevitable inner change. Oh, Sleepyhead tells the story of breaking free from a suffocating reality, overcoming fears, and the painful but necessary path toward a new kind of freedom. In some ways, it marks a sharp departure from his traditional introspective style, featuring the Benevento orchestra conducted by Raffaele Tiseo, which gives it a partially band-like sound.

“When I wrote this song, my life was changing drastically, day by day,” says Micah P. Hinson. “The things I cared about were shifting. What once felt like love became control. It was a time of great confusion but also awakening, and this song symbolizes that moment: the end of one phase and the beginning of another. The freedom to find a new day, a new way to live, and the pain of leaving old lives behind. We can only be prisoners of our lives if we allow it, but yes, like most things in life, change has a price and freedom has consequences.”

The single invites reflection on the value of personal freedom and the strength needed to leave behind what no longer belongs to us. With intense sounds and authentic lyrics, Oh, Sleepyhead becomes the voice of those who have the courage to change, even when it hurts.

After two dates scheduled for late summer, Micah P. Hinson will return next fall with THE TOMORROW MAN TOUR 2025, a tour hitting some of the most important European venues, including stops in Italy. A unique opportunity to present the new album live.
