**EUCADEMIX**

Yuka Honda (eucademix) is a composer, producer, and sonic innovator, best known as co-founder

of the genre-defying duo Cibo Matto. Her music—quantum, continuum, and sensory—blends

electronic experimentation, improvisation, infectious rhythm, and abstract storytelling. She has

collaborated with artists including Yoko Ono, Sean Lennon, Nels Cline, Photay, Jason Lindner

(Black Star), Dave Harrington (Darkside), L’Rain, and Martha Wainwright, with recent projects at

ISSUE Project Room and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

**Music For Broken Violins**

Serbian born, Brooklyn based violinist Marija Kovačević works in classical, experimental and improvised music and theater. Her project “Music for Broken Violins” is an exploration of sonic textures with broken violins, bows and their fragments.

**On/In**

ON/IN was formed in 2019, inspired by Akio, a character from the electronic opera No Revenge Necessary composed by Yuka Honda. In the opera, Akio — a yellow-jacketed mad scientist — expresses his complex, shadowy emotions through glitchy, nonsensical syllables. The name ON/IN (pronounced \[oɰ̃.iɴ\] in Japanese) can also be written as 音韻, a term referring to the sound units of language — how syllables, tones, and phonemes connect to create meaning and emotion. By dissecting phonetic vibration, ON/IN explores the internal architecture of sound — a space where language, rhythm, and resonance converge.

Peter Gordon is an American experimental composer and musician, known for being a crucial figure in the downtown New York City art and music scene in the late 70s, early 80s. Love of Life Orchestra is an experimental music group formed by Peter Gordon in New York City in '77. The original orchestra consisted of legendary artists such as Arthur Russell, Peter Zummo, Jill Kroesen,"Blue" Gene Tyranny, and has had a widely varying lineup since. We're excited to see who will make up the Love of Life orchestra on this very special night.

lovetempo, the brain child of Mattie Safer (singer and bassist for Poolside and The Rapture), has moved with imagination and creativity, fusing saudade sentimentality and jazz-funk excursions, with modern dancefloor sensibilities. Through body, soul, and basslines lovetempo explores the travails and triumps of the heart.

Sam Duke, of DFA Records, will bookend the night from the DJ booth.
