Composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Adrian Younge is known for his dedication to analog sound and his ability to bridge past and present in music. As the founder of Linear Labs and co-creator of Jazz Is Dead, his work spans collaborations with artists such as Roy Ayers, Lonnie Liston Smith, and João Donato.

Adrian will be performing with an outstanding 10-piece orchestra to present 'Something About April III‘ - the final chapter of his Brazil inspired psychedelic soul trilogy.

 Nine Below Zero released their classic debut LP 'Live at the Marquee' in 1980, the band kept the momentum going with 'Don’t Point Your Finger' in 1981 before releasing their third and final LP on A&M Records, 'Third Degree' (1982).

 Nine Below Zero toured with The Who and The Kinks around the time of this LP and also appeared on 'The Old Grey Whistle Test', and 'The South Bank Show'.

 Dr. Feelgood formed on Canvey Island in Essex in the early 1970’s and have enjoyed a string of hit singles in many countries including 'Milk & Alcohol', 'Down at the Doctors', 'Roxette', 'She’s a Wind Up' and 'See You Later Alligator'.

 The current line-up of Dr. Feelgood is led by their drummer Kevin Morris, and features Gordon Russell on lead guitar, Phil Mitchell on bass and charismatic vocalist, Robert Kane.

'Shout To The Top' 40th Anniversary

The Style Councillors will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of 'Shout To The Top', the 5th single by The Style Council.

The Style Councillors are the world’s one and only tribute to The Style Council.

Formed in 2013 by Darren Fletcher (Paul Weller) and Steve Hayes (Mick Talbot), The Style Councillors have quickly built a loyal fanbase for the group which was Paul Weller’s home for the majority of the 1980’s and where he wrote some of his finest songs. Dani Clay (Dee C. Lee) and Craig Read (Steve White) are joined by the Bad Manners Horn Section and a stellar line up of musicians hell-bent on recreating the sound of The Style Council.

After the dissolution of The Jam in 1982, Paul Weller joined forces with Mick Talbot, formerly of The Merton Parkas, Dexys Midnight Runners and The Bureau, to form The Style Council. The band released a string of succesful singles between 1983-1989 such as Speak Like a Child, Money-Go-Round, Long Hot Summer, My Ever Changing Moods, You’re The Best Thing, Shout To The Top, Walls Come Tumbling Down, A Solid Bond In Your Heart, Come To Milton Keynes, The Lodgers, Why I Went Missing, and more.

Born and raised in South London, Henry graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in 2016 and has gone on to perform and collaborate with the likes of Jason Marsalis, Terence Blanchard, and Jean Toussaint.

Henry is beautifully influenced by his Jamaican heritage and in particular the wave of Caribbean jazz musicians from the 1950s, including the likes of Joe Harriott, Harold McNair, Dizzy Reece, Harry Beckett and Wilton Gaynair, who arrived in Britain during the jazz boom of the late post war period.

Despite this eclectic range of international influences, Henry’s sound remains distinctively British, crazily present and in the true tradition of jazz is bold.

Da Lata is the brainchild of Chris Franck (founding member of London-based trip hop band Smoke City) and DJ Patrick Forge. They have blazed a trail for the progressive fusion of Afro/Brazilian rhythms with a London twist since 1997. In 1998 they recorded the song “Pra Manha” and were subsequently signed to Chris Blackwell’s Palm Pictures label. Their debut album “Songs from the Tin” was released in 2000 to great critical acclaim. The live band went on to tour Europe, US and Japan which included a line up of drummer Tristan Banks (Steve Winwood), keyboard and vocalist Mike Lindup (Level 42) bass player Andy Lafone (Negrocan), vocalist Liliana Chachian and percussionist Oli Savill.

Fronted by Nigerian singer Eno Williams, this incredible, energetic band crosses all boundaries. Their sound is a unique clash of African and electronic elements, inspired in equal measure by the golden era of West-African funk and disco and modern post-punk and electro.

Ibibio Sound Machine were founded by Eno Williams and Max Grunhard in 2013 with the idea of combining the unique sound of the Ibibio language that Eno spoke growing up in Nigeria, with both traditional West African and more modern electronic musical elements. They linked up with Merge Records in 2017 for Uyai and returned with Doko Mien in 2019 and have gone on to win global critical acclaim.

LONDON CALLING PLAY THE CLASH

'Clash City Rockers' Tour

London Calling, the world's premiere tribute to The Clash, will be playing the 'A' & 'B' sides of singles released by The Clash between 1977-1983.

The Clash formed in 1976 and are considered one of the most influential groups to come out of the Punk scene.

The Clash released singles throughout their lifetime which did not feature on any of their albums such as 'Capital Radio', '(White Man) in Hammersmith Palais', 'I Fought The Law', 'Complete Control' and more.

London Calling Play The Clash

The Dream Syndicate will perform their visceral 1984 album Medicine Show on tour in the US and Europe beginning in November 2025 and carrying through March of 2026. The tour will sync with a reissue of Medicine Show (now expanded into a 4-CD set of 42 songs, 29 unreleased performances (live and studio) from 1983-84) and a vinyl LP on the band’s own Down There label, distributed by Fire Records.

It will be the first time the band has played Medicine Show in its entirety and comes fresh on the heels of a similar and successful tour for The Days of Wine and Roses in 2022.

The band will open each evening with a set of new material, drawn from the four reunion albums they have made since 2017, take a short break and then switch over to Medicine Show – heralded as one of the 40 best rock albums ever by the Guardian. It has been out of print in every format for decades.

The Dream Syndicate burst onto the LA scene at the beginning of 1982 as the leaders of the Paisley Underground movement – becoming one of the leading lights of the American indie scene that was brewing after the birth of punk and new wave. Four albums and countless tours followed before The Dream Syndicate disbanded in 1988, then reuniting in 2012. The core band of Steve Wynn, Dennis Duck and Mark Walton from the first incarnation was joined by Steve Wynn & the Miracle 3 guitarist Jason Victor and eventually Green on Red keyboardist Chris Cacavas, the lineup that endures to this day.

Julien Ehrlich and Max Kakacek could hear the staggering differences in the songs they were writing for their third album as Whitney, SPARK—the buoyant drum loops, the effortless falsetto hooks, the coruscant keyboard lines. They suddenly sounded like a band reimagined, their once-ramshackle folk-pop now brimming with unprecedented gusto and sheen. But could they see it, too?

So in the ad hoc studio the Chicago duo built in the living room of their rented Portland bungalow, a shared 2020 escape hatch amid breakups and lockdowns, Julien and Max decided to find out. Somewhere between midnight and dawn every night, their brains refracted by the late hour and light psychedelics, they’d play their latest creations while a hardware store disco ball spun overhead and slowed-down music videos from megastars spooled silently on YouTube. Did their own pop songs—so much more immediate and modern than their hazy origins—fit such big-budget reels? “We’d come to the conclusion we weren’t going to be filming Super 8 videos to this stuff anymore,” Julien remembers with a grin. “How about something more hi-fi, cinematic?” When the footage and the tunes linked, Julien and Max knew they had done it, that they’d finally found Whitney’s sound.

SPARK reintroduces Whitney as a contemporary syndicate of classic pop, its dozen imaginative and endearing tracks wrapping fetching melodies around paisley-print Dilla beats and luxuriant electronics. What’s more, Whitney reduces three years of extreme emotional highs and lows into 38 brisk but deep minutes, each of these 12 tracks a singable lesson in what it is they (and, really, we) have all survived. The recalcitrant ennui of opener “NOTHING REMAINS,” the devastating loss of “TERMINAL,” the sun-streaked renewal of “REAL LOVE”: However surprising it may sound, SPARK is less a radical reinvention for Whitney than an honest accounting of how it feels when you move out of your past and into your present, when you take the next steps of your lives and careers at once and without apology. SPARK maintains the warmth and ease of Whitney’s early work; these songs glow with the newness of now.

The start of SPARK traces back to the surprise success of Light Upon the Lake, Whitney’s 2016 debut. Its softly distorted psych-folk dreams found a wide audience more readily than the pair ever expected; after years of ceaseless touring, they felt compelled to plug into the same sound for round two, 2019’s Forever Turned Around. “We committed to making a second record with the same tools,” Julien says, “because we knew we could.” As the sessions progressed, though, they became a slog, as Julien and Max worked to be versions of themselves they no longer were, to write songs in a mold that no longer fit. “What are we doing? How do we fix this, together?” Max remembers often asking Julien, as they contended with broken tape machines that felt like metaphors. This no longer felt like their music, but a vestige of their initial enthusiasm. They barely had enough material or energy to finish.

Max and Julien knew a drastic change was necessary, but they never envisioned, of course, international lockdowns would facilitate it. Weeks after Julien decamped to a Craigslist rental in Portland to get away from the scene of an intense breakup, Max followed, hoping to escape the tail of a long Chicago winter with his best friend and cowriter. Four days later, flights were grounded. Upcoming tours were canceled. For the next 14 months, barring occasional sojourns to Chicago or visits from old friends, they dug in with a zeal and determination that recalled their start, before success set expectations. “We had time to just sit and watch the body of work grow

in real time,” Julien says. “We were just stacking stronger and stronger songs on top of each other.” Max picks up his thought: “Our favorite way to make records, the way we made the first one.”
