Minami Deutsch is a krautrock band from Tokyo, Japan. Known as self-proclaimed “repetition freaks,” the band draws inspiration from psychedelic rock and minimal techno, but their true obsession lies in krautrock—a fact hinted at by their name, which translates to “South Germany.”

There are some places and moments that tie people together forever, whether it be a place, a song or something you can't quite define through words. The origins of Orions Belte stemmed from one of those mystical moments in time, which spawned a lasting creative connection. The first time all three members Øyvind, Chris and Kim met up to work on ideas they ended up recording their entire first album over a weekend together.

Orions Belte uses the band as a platform to explore different aspects of what an instrumental band can be resulting in everything from separate solo albums, live recordings from digital streams in the Norwegian nature, EP’s containing eccentric covers to studio albums that create soundscapes that pull you in and draw out emotions in ways that only they know how.

Their strong connection inspires them to write music that feels natural and authentic, focusing on strong melodies and grooves resonating with their worldwide fanbase.

Described by Atwood Magazine as "an eclectic fusion of disparate styles and exciting sounds that says what it wants to say through memorable melodies, ambient drones, and a stockpile of wicked guitar riffs."

2025 promises to be an exceptional year for The Limiñanas: Lionel and Marie have just announced a European tour and will be performing in Brighton at CHALK on Friday 5th December! They will be defending “Faded”, their forthcoming studio album due for release on 21/02/25 via Because Music. The singles Prisoner of beauty (ft. Bobby Gillespie) and J'adore le monde (feat. Bertrand Belin) are already available for listening.

The Limiñanas are that iconic rock couple, still driven by an unshakable desire to immerse us in their world, tinged with 60s rock and psychedelia, and infused with a cinematic aesthetic reminiscent of the golden age of Italian cinema.

For this new tour, they will be joined on stage by a top-tier lineup: Thomas Gorman (Kill the Young) on vocals, Clémence Lasme (Moodoïd, Lucie Antunes…) on bass, and Keith Streng (The Fleshtones) on guitar. Alban Barate, their loyal southern accomplice, will once again handle vintage keyboards and guitar. This dream team is set to sweep us away into a sonic, euphoric, and contagious trance!

The stage design will be enhanced by visual projections born from a collaboration with visual artist SMITH, creating a sensory bridge between psychedelic rock and cosmic poetry.

We have a dedicated seated accessibility platform which is located on the right-hand side of the stage. This position offers a good clear view of the stage, step-free venue access via a ramp and an accessible toilet on the same level.

Due to current limitations, we can only offer space for 2 access seats, each with an additional companion. These can be purchased on a first-come first-served basis and are named 'accessibility seating'.

How can I get a PA ticket?

The main entrance to the venue is in Pool Valley coach station. Upon arrival go straight to the front of the queue and let a member of our security team know that you are on the accessibility list. A trained member of staff from the venue will escort you to the entrance that you require and guide you through the building.

What if I require step-free access to the venue?

Unfortunately, the venue does not have any on-site parking. There are Blue Badge holder parking bays located in Little East Street / Bartholemews, which are 130 meters from the accessible step-free East Street entrance.

What if I require accessible toilets?

Guide or Assistance dogs are welcome in the venue. You may be asked to provide ID or your ADUK booklet, and we require that all assistance dogs have adequate PPE including a hi-visibility coat, goggles, and ear defenders. Please reach out to the venue directly if you have any specific questions.

In these four years spent electrifying venues and festivals across Europe, the UK, and the US (notably including their participation at SXSW in Austin, Texas), a/lpaca have continued writing music, evolving their sound – moving away from “psych” to incorporate more electronic elements – while staying true to their kraut origins and their “sonic” spirit, two of the traits that define them. The themes have also evolved: “The concept of the album,” they say, “is probably a continuation of \*Make It Better\*. The difference is that the temporary remedy for life, the thing that saves for a while, is no longer music, the club, the concert, and an artistic world to discover and live in, but only the presence of friends, the blurring effect of drinks, and the ‘laughter’ that pushes away responsibility and the everyday grind.”

School Disco was formed in 2016 by Rory Lethbridge, Troy Holt, and Laur Underwood. Starting out the band relentlessly played Plymouth venues The Underground and The Junction which helped them forge their raw psych sound and DIY ethos. In late 2019 they released their self-titled debut album via Indie labels, Hot Wax Records, Kraut-Pop!, and Copper Feast Records. This led to them playing shows in Europe as well as selling out a number of shows around the UK.

Drummer Laur Underwood decided to leave the band in early 2020. Remaining members Rory and Troy recorded their follow-up album in the summer of 2020 in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. Shortly after drummer Luke Shaw Joined the band.

After the runaway success of their debut album Terrapath, which cemented their status as the stewards of the UK’s prog-rock scene, Plantoid have returned with their sophomore release: the enigmatic, arresting, and at times downright catchy Flare. Staying true to the band's math-rock roots, the album is awash in heavy, reverberated guitar licks, tempo changes, and mind-altering chord progressions—all while expanding Plantoid’s signature sound towards new horizons, like wall-of-sound shoegaze and vocal-forward rock-pop. It does what all second albums do best; retain the core DNA that set its predecessor apart from the fray, yet evolve enough to excite old fans and new listeners alike.

Ghost Funk Orchestra is the brainchild of composer/multi-instrumentalist Seth Applebaum. What started as a one-man recording project has now evolved into a 10-piece powerhouse live band. It’s a sonic kaleidoscope that defies genre specification, but draws heavy influence from the worlds of soul, psych rock, salsa, and beyond. Their unique blend of genres has attracted praise from the likes of Bandcamp, KUTX, Brooklyn Vegan, Earmilk, and more. Local NY blog Post-Trash described their sound as a ‘psych odyssey of traditional sounds delivered in a non-traditional fashion.’ Bandcamp’s Editorial Director J. Edward Keyes praised the band’s ability to ‘leave no funk-adjacent genre unexplored.’ Now, coming off of their highly regarded 2019 release ‘A Song For Paul,’ GFO is hard at work preparing their follow-up LP, to be released in fall 2020 on Karma Chief.
