Nightstalker, the preeminent godfathers of Greek hard rock music scene, boast a 30-year legacy adorned in heavy riffs, hazy smoke, and raw psychedelia. Countless attempts to categorize their unique sound have failed time and time again, as their varied influences have produced an intoxicating mixture of sonic textures you won't find anywhere else. Just like Kyuss, Monster Magnet, Black Sabbath, and Motörhead, Nightstalker have left an unparalleled imprint on the rock underground.

The Dead Rock Commandos of Greece offer a discography of eight hard-punching albums that have consistently expanded Nightstalker's template without ever straying from the band's identity. Their latest album, 2019's Great Hallucinations, is auditory proof of the band's extensive experimentation with every illicit substance known to man. With its groovy, catchy riffs and deep, expansive psychedelic tracks, Nightstalker's latest opus is easily the most mature yet trippy body of work the band has ever produced.

Nightstalker was founded in 1989 by the band's frontman and original drummer, Argy. In 1992, Nightstalker recruited bassist Andreas Lagios (ex-Rotting Christ). With Lagios's help, the band released their first EP, Side FX, in 1994. Built off the strength of songs like "Spit" and "Mad Prophet," the album's sound was completely new for Greek audiences, a factor that sparked the fanatic following that still supports the band today. Two years later, Nightstalker released their first full-length album, Use, making 1996 a landmark year for both the band and Greek rock history. After this seminal release, Nightstalker took four years to perfect the tracks for their follow-up EP, The Ritual.

The addition of guitarist Tolis Motsios in 2004 brought forth an original, funky, psychedelic masterpiece called Just A Burn. In 2009, the band released Superfreak, the first album signed to a US label, Meteorcity Records, and quickly received international
acclaim. Three years later, Nightstalker released Dead Rock Commandos, a standout album that earned them thousands of fans worldwide and produced some of their biggest hits, solidifying them as legends in the hard rock music scene and establishing Children of the Sun as an anthem that would personify the Greek Rock scene for years to come. Their seventh album, As Above, So Below, proved that Nightstalker improved with age and introduced a new element in the band's sound: electric blues. Nightstalker's latest work (the aforementioned Great Hallucinations) created a frenzy that was, unfortunately, prematurely stifled by the global pandemic. True to form, the band has promised to hit the road as soon they're able to perform live shows again.

It's no secret that the band has a long-lasting, almost romantic, affair with the stage. From Greece to the UK, Nightstalker have electrified crowds for 30 years, and they plan to continue for 30 more! While the band has toured long enough to share the stage with rock royalty like Ramones and Uriah Heep, they never tire of performing live. They thrive on it.

The history of the Cro-Mags is integral to the history of Hardcore, it’s evolution from Punk and the development of alternative music genres such as thrash, thrash metal, post punk and grunge to name a few. Numerous iconic bands from Metallica to Green Day, and individuals such as Dave Grohl have credited Cro-Mags with having a primal influence on their development.

The brain child of a very young Harley Flanagan back in 1981 (at the time 14 years old) when still playing with the Stimulators, Flanagan set out to start his own band. By 1982/83 he recorded the very first Cro-Mags demos constituting of 4 songs that would become the blue print for the seminal 1986 “Age of Quarrel.” He wrote all of the music, played each instrument and sang. Before long he connected with Parris Mayhew and the two started writing music and auditioning band members.

After several line-ups, 6 album releases (beyond the original demos) and 30 + years of tours around the world, Cro-Mags remains one of the most iconic hardcore bands with arguably the greatest reach beyond the genre.

Currently celebrating the Cro-Mags 30th anniversary of the album Best Wishes (1989-2019) the Cro-Mags, with its founder, Harley Flanagan on bass/vocals, will be touring in the states and Europe to celebrate the show, along with performing the entire Cro-Mags music catalogue.

An Unexpected Reality​ is Gatecreeper like you’ve never heard them before. Exploring both ends of the tempo spectrum, this release offers two opposing sides of the band’s musical personality. Side one consists of seven short, sharp shocks that have a total running time of less than seven minutes. Inspired by grind, punk and hardcore, tracks like “Starved,” “Rusted Gold” and “Amputation” are some of the fastest offerings the Arizona death metal squad has ever recorded. Side two is the exact opposite. Consisting of a single 11-minute track entitled “Emptiness,” this is Gatecreeper at their slowest and most funereal. Think of it as an extended version of the death-doom tracks that the band closed out ​Sonoran Depravation​ and ​Deserted​ with.

“Even thou the Cosmic Psychos never had the commercial impact or success that Nirvana and Pearl Jam had, they were still a major influence on them, and I think a lot of it had to do with the spirit and the sound of their music.” – Butch Vig, Record Producer. 

The Cosmic Psychos are (almost) an Australian punk rock institution who formed in Spring Plains, Victoria in 1982, spearheaded by founding member and bass player Ross Knight. 
To date, the band have released 10  studio albums since their self-titled debut (1987) and their influence has been global, with UK band The Prodigy sampling their music on 1997’s ‘The Fat of the Land’ LP and Nirvana producer Butch Vig proclaiming them an influence on both Nirvana and the Seattle grunge scene of the 1990’s.
In 2009, Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam spoke candidly of the effect the band had on him growing up in Seattle. The band’s repetitive lyrics, fuzzed out guitar and wah-wah bass sound has remained unchanged over their 30 plus year career and continues to win over new audiences.  
A documentary by film maker Matt Weston, released in 2013, titled ‘Blokes You Can Trust’ featured a whose who of global indie tastemakers and music makers espousing the Cosmic Psycho’s legacy in Australian musical history. The documentary has given the band new life and they currently find themselves fielding touring and interview requests as far flung as Spain, Germany and Costa Rica. 
It’s been a wild ride for the Psycho’s mainstay Ross Knight who originally formed the band in 1982 for ‘shits and giggles’.  He’s been trying to balance the demands of fronting one of Australia’s defining punk bands and managing his vast third-generation farm ever since;  which includes running cattle, tending a vineyard and volunteering his time and tractor to the local fire service.  
Rounding out the Psycho’s line-up since 2005 is Melbourne born Dean Muller on drums and John ‘Mad Macka’ McKeering on guitar. Macka (formerly of Brisbane stalwarts The Onyas), has spent time as a lawyer, pizza delivery driver, carpet factory worker, bartender and swim coach. These days, when not hanging with the Psycho’s he teaches punk rock chords to guitar students and regales beginners with stories about the time he once beat Olympian swimmer Kieran Perkins in a medley race. 
The Cosmic Psycho’s have survived the passing decades, musical trends and fashions with ease.  Most fans will tell you they’re simple blokes (you can trust), just making straight-ahead, good-fun, Australian influenced punk rock. 
In 2019, the Cosmic Psychos celebrate 30 years since the release of their second album ‘Go the Hack’ – which perfectly sums up the career trajectory of one of Australia’s most loved bands.

After some years of absence from the black metal scene, guitarist Rune Eriksen (AURA NOIR, EARTH ELECTRIC, ex-MAYHEM), decides to venture back into the aural landscapes he’s widely known for. Having played with one of Norway’s leading extreme metal bands for years, Eriksen seeks to coalesce classic, cold Scandinavian riffing with an air of darkness and the signature force of death metal.

Combining strengths, Eriksen brings in veterans of the extreme, David Vincent of legendary death metal formation MORBID ANGEL, as well as acclaimed drummer Flo Mounier from CRYPTOPSY. The three-piece has completed the work on their debut album, which is slated for release in early 2019 via Season of Mist. The new death metal powerhouse will be known under the moniker of VLTIMAS.

The foundation for VLTIMAS was laid when Rune, after collecting a handful of riffs, presented drummer Flo Mounier with the idea of forming a band together. For the two musicians, having composed and recorded numerous songs together in the past, the musical chemistry was already tried and tested. However, one thing was still missing. This extraordinary musical project needed an extraordinary voice and Eriksen got in touch with David Vincent, with whom he had been in contact for years, to finalize the line-up.

Vincent had just exited Morbid Angel and was ready for a new chapter in his long-spanning career. Everything fell into place, and VLTIMAS came into being.

During the Noize Factory sessions (Georgetown, USA), the musicians started writing a substantial amount of music. The sessions proved to be a fruitful endeavor and the first ideas and song skeletons were later fleshed out by Rune at his home studio in Portugal, then finalized when Flo Mounier and Eriksen returned to Texas, in order to put the final touches to the material at David's home studio. In a more controlled surroundings, the songs started to unveil themselves and the studio was booked.

The band entered Orgone Studios in Woburn, England in May 2018 with producer Jaime Gomez Arellano. Here, the three-piece recorded nine crushing tracks that will appear on the full-length debut album.

The record offers a vast array of influences, but most notably the distinguished symbioses of these three respected and talented musicians.

Old Man Gloom is a supergroup (containing members of Converge, ISIS, Cave In, Zozobra, Doomriders, Mamiffer, etc.), but instead of making shitty records like other "supergroups", Old Man Gloom actually makes great ones. The members are Aaron Turner, Santos Montaño, Nate Newton and Caleb Scofield. Old Man Gloom was formed in 1998 and have been non-stop great since then.

The acronym for Old Man Gloom is "OMG". "OMG" has become a household phrase since its introduction in to the popular lexicon in 1999, directly coinciding with the formation of Old Man Gloom the year prior. The group has never been properly credited for this massively important contribution to global culture.

Old Man Gloom's most recent album(s) "The Ape of God" have been released via Profound Lore Records and SIGE Records for North America and Europe, and by Daymare Recordings in Japan. Old Man Gloom's previous albums have been released by labels such as Hydra Head Records, Trust No One, etc.

The band has said this when asked about the reason for their existence:

Brazilian band SEMBLANT are one of the most important metal bands in the country. Classified by the media as one of the first bands "vampiric metal” bands in Brazi, despite this, it is impossible to label the sound of the band. They've got an extremely heavy sound (lead by two 7-strings guitars and fast and precise drumming), plus loads of versatility on the vocals.

Eureka Machines started out in 2007 when singer Chris Catalyst (occasional guitar/bass wrangler for The Sisters Of Mercy, Mariachi El Bronx, Ginger/The Wildhearts, The Dead Pets and AntiProduct) got bored of waiting for Godot so decided to start a new band. We thought people would like silly names like Wayne Insane, Davros and Pete Human, and some of them did. We did loads of brilliant gigs with bands like Electric Six, Gogol Bordello, The Stranglers and The Wildhearts, as well as Reading/Leeds 2008, which was a laugh. We also played in Mansfield.

We released an album called Do Or Die (WRATHCD48) in 2008 which had some nice reviews from people like The Sun (‘power-pop perfection… a dazzling debut’), Spin Magazine (‘locating the sweet spot between 10cc and Green Day’), Classic Rock (‘power-pop stomp… brilliant vocal harmonies… ridiculously catchy’) and Rock Sound (‘you won’t hear bigger, better or more lavish pop songs than these this year – fact!’).

We had the song ‘The Story Of My Life’ included on the Classic Rock covermount CD in November 2009, which netted us another six or seven fans.

We’ve put out videos like this one for Being Good Is Okay But Being Better’s Better, and this one for Everyone Loves You. Our most favourite is this one for These Are The People Who Live In My House. We agree that our song titles are too long.

Very few people seem to be able to spell our name right. Our favourite was ‘URAKA MACHINE’.

This about sums it up: ‘Imagine if the Beatles and the Beach Boys met Motorhead, jammed with the Cardiacs and created the best band you’ve never heard. Until now.’ (Rob Wright, Sandman Magazine).

We released our second album in May 2011, which was called Champion The Underdog (WRATHCD60). This didn’t propel us to rock stardom and stadium headliners, but it might just have put a smile on your face and a spring in your step.

We’re now preparing to unleash our third album, via a PledgeMusic campaign.
