A Valentine's day Special that highlights the sounds of RnB & Amapiano. LOAI & MASTAQUE, both incredible DJ’s who specialise in Amapiano, RnB and other genres, aim to produce an eccentric and elegant night that reflects the warmth and vibe of Cafe Koko.

Complemented with the dazzling sounds of Taurean Sax & friends, a Jazz influenced group of musicians, and the amazing sounds of Glade Marie, a well renowned DJ from South London.

This February Camden Collective will be hosted by Cafe KOKO for a three-day takeover.

Camden Collective is a charity which turns vacant buildings into free creative workspace, and at KOKO we’ll be showcasing the amazing talent of our start-up members. We’ll also be inviting YOU, the broader community, to think differently of our creative town. To help us shift the narrative of Camden, rewrite its stereotypes and envisage it through the eyes of some of Camden’s Creatives.

To kick it off we’ll be hosting an intimate launch event! Expect real time art curation from the amazing @KirzArt, bubbles circulating the room by muses wearing NEW VOID ORDER’s latest season, pieces from Amba Jewellery, photography from Ben Sage, the latest from the Camden Highline, demonstrations by Alice. Camera plus more and more.

The following 2 days after the launch event will be an opportunity to get up close and personal with the brands in the pop-up space, and tap into their creations.

Camden Through the Looking Glass

Brother and sister duo Esme Emerson kickstarted their music career at the beginning of 2020 after being scouted from TikTok. They creatively thrive off one another bringing together their individual musical influences, incorporating elements from a range of genres from indie-folk to k-pop.

The pair are already picking up support from tastemakers after their debut EP reached over 300,000 streams without label support. Gathering huge attention through platforms such as TikTok for their effortless vocals and relatable lyrics. They have since been championed by BBC Introducing and are making waves across their local areas and beyond showcasing their incredible talent.

Kiina is a producer & DJ who has worked with a wide array of singers and rappers from the U.K . and the U.S. including : Goya Gumbani, Clbrks, Fatima, Meron T, Louis Culture, Lojii, YUNGMORPHEUS, Remy Banks & Dudley Perkins.

Renowned for his warm, refined style and intricate beats. Kiina’s jazz & soul influence is present in his productions and DJ sets where he favours timeless instrumental melodies reminiscent of smokey jazz bars and long nights.

Kiina’s latest collaborative release is “Face In The Storm” with Goya Gumbani, an introspective meditation on loss and the passage of time, a follow up to their first sold out EP “The Lesser Known”. The next release will be with rap maverick and Oxnard native Dudley Perkins.

His emotive, thought-provoking words have been captivating audiences for over a decade. You will laugh, you will cry, you will shoot gun fingers in the air...Not one to miss!

Simon A. is a singer, rapper, songwriter and producer from Walthamstow, East London that tiptoes on the lines of genre so carefully that his songs seem both so familiar yet so different – taking from RnB, Hip Hop, Indie, Classical and House music. He uses this intricate blend as a base to cover topics of self-love, social media, mental health, and relationships in his lyrics.
