**A cabaret show with a Middle Eastern twist, presented by Arts Canteen as part of their 2023 Arab Women Artists Now (AWAN) Festival**

Join us to celebrate the festival’s ninth anniversary, in an evening packed with music, spoken word and poetry!

AWAN Festival returns to Grand Junction, with an unmissable evening of cabaret featuring London’s most talented female performers from the Middle East & North Africa.

**The stellar line up:**

**Sunkissed Child** (Yasmina) - a Leeds & London-based artist from Lebanon. Through her music and captivating lyrics, she shares pieces of herself & her life story through a mix of cultures, languages & genres.

**Amal Khalidi** - a multi-disciplinary, poet, musician, and storyteller born & raised in London. Amal’s work takes inspiration from their experience of being a part of the North African diaspora.

**Sana El Wakili** - a multidisciplinary poet, writer, movement artist & actor based in london with North African heritage.

**Tasneim Zyada -** a British Palestinian spoken word artist & published poet.

**Heba Alhayek** - a London-based Palestinian author whos first book, *Sambac Beneath Unlikely Skies*, won the 2022 Palestine Book Awards.

**Chifaa Khelfaoui** - a spoken word artist who express her thoughts & emotions on the complications of life, particularly of Arab Women.
