Rough Trade & Music Declares Emergency Presents, Turn Up The Volume: Music in the Climate Crisis via Zoom Webinar.

How can record labels, record stores, and artists respond to the climate crisis?

Presenting a panel made up of record labels, record stores, and artists discussing if it's their place to respond to the climate crisis and if so, how? Taking in micro and macro actions around the production and sale of recorded music and beyond.

The panel includes:

Hannah Peel (Artist / Composer)

From her solo albums Mary Casio: Journey To Cassiopeia and Fir Wave to composing soundtracks like her Emmy-nominated Game of Thrones: The Last Watch score, or to orchestrating and conducting for artists like Paul Weller, Hannah Peel's work is ambitious and forward-looking. Through her explorative approach to electronic, classical, field recordings, and traditional music, she is always adapting by re-inventing new genres and hybrid musical forms.

James Stafford (KEY Production)
