Rough Trade are very excited to present this Interactive Live Stream Zoom Q&A with Sam, Mike & Becky from Tunng, joining host for the evening Laura Barton for an intimate in-conversation. The evening will also feature readings from writer Max Porter, an exclusive screening of a live solo performance of an album track, a screening of the Scared To Death video, and an opportunity for audience questions.

This unique event celebrates the release of Tunng Presents Dead Club, the new album from Tunng, released 6th November via Full Time Hobby.

Tunng's new Dead Club project is a journey through life, death and grief. From Death Cafes to death cleaning, deep grief and the joy and wonder of living - the album, podcast series and zine explore the great taboos of end of life from angles both familiar and unexpected.

The project has been 2 years in the making and features not just a new album but also an 8 part podcast series produced by the band featuring long-form interviews with experts, writers and thinkers in the field of grief, loss and philosophy. Each episode is dedicated to a different guest, including Derren Brown, Max Porter, Speech Debelle, Kathryn Mannix, Dame Sue Black, Alain de Botton, AC Grayling and Kevin Young. Some of these guests also feature on the album itself.

Tickets for this event also include a physical copy of the incredible new album, delivered to your home address by Rough Trade.

You will receive a link for the Live Stream on the day of the event and when the show’s about to start, the link will be accessible on your ticket in-app.

This is a 300 person capacity event.
