Rough Trade and Rockefeller Center present **indieballroom**: a new concert series at the Rainbow Room on May 7th, with doors at 7p.

This first **indieballroom** will feature SQÜRL, Marissa Nadler, and Bria to celebrate the release of SQÜRL's new album Silver Haze.

With only 300 tickets available, at just $25 each, at the art deco, 65th floor Rainbow Room, indieballroom show's will feature three artists, two stages, one ballroom, with a full bar, complete with jaw-dropping views across this remarkable city and beyond.

SQÜRL was formed by Jim Jarmusch and Carter Logan in 2009 to score Jarmusch’s movie The Limits of Control. Over a decade later and with numerous EPs and film scores under their belt, SQÜRL are set to release their very first full length record. Silver Haze was produced by Randall Dunn, who has also worked with the likes of Sunn O))), Boris, Earth, Zola Jesus, and Marissa Nadler, all of whom are artists that SQÜRL cite as inspirations.

Led by the brooding vocals of Bria Salmena, Cuntry Covers Vol. 2 is every bit as potent as its predecessor whose noir-inflected alternative country-rock stood in sharp contrast to the singer’s commanding delivery as leader of post-punk revivalists FRIGS. Debuting the project in 2021, the languid, reverb-drenched Cuntry Covers Vol. 1 saw her artfully collaborating with multi-instrumentalist Duncan Hay Jennings and reimagining a carefully picked collection of Americana anthems.
