Over the past 15 years it has become something of a holiday tradition to attend a Dublin concert with Christy Moore, either in the run up to Christmas or early in the New Year. Different times make for different circumstances, and although there is no large gathering scheduled for this year, we invite you to join us for a livestream show from the National Concert Hall.
Christy Moore has played an integral role in the evolution of music on this island. Aside from his long and productive solo career, he is a founding member of the iconic bands Planxty and Moving Hearts. His songs have travelled around the world with the Irish diaspora and wherever they are played they instil an invaluable sense of home and belonging. His powerfully relatable stories of the human condition resonate beyond the community.
Christy’s varied history is celebrated with his recent Irish chart topping release, The Early Years, covering his recordings and television appearances from 1969-1981. Continuing on from this successful release, Christy Moore returns for this exclusive livestream concert from the National Concert Hall in Dublin.
Available on demand to ticket holders for 48 hours.
Tickets for the stream are available exclusively via DICE.
Presented by the National Concert Hall, Dublin in partnership with Serious UK and is supported by The Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
