Leon Vynehall released his Nothing Is Still LP in June. Now, he’s taking the lauded full-length on the road. It’s a tantalising reminder that everything Leon Vynehall is proof in favour of dance music's spot on record. NME lauded it as "another laugh in the face of the assumption that dance music can’t work well as LPs”.
Get ready for a showcase of utter progression, featuring Vynehall’s musical transcendence from house to more experimental realms. He’s swapped the songs usual relenting drums for some consuming, quivering and gorgeous string work. Nothing Is Still will be a personal feat live. It’s dedicated to his Grandparents who emigrated from the quaint UK to New York City in the 1960s, was sparked by the stories of their seven-day journey via boat which left Vynehall with a personal need to document them.
The man has made more ‘Best Of’ lists than he has beat variations, with Pitchfork, FACT and Resident Advisor all falling as fans. Don’t miss your chance to see the first line of his next chapter.
