OPENING TO OUR OWN LAUGHTER
How much do we laugh as clowns & comedians? I used to think I'd look more intelligent if I didn't look so 'easily pleased'. I made other people laugh, but rarely did so myself. Without doubt, a laughter practice has kept my spirit, creativity, productivity & soul alive over the pandemic. I'd like to share some of this with you.
There's a lot of talk about the health benefits of laughter these days, so we're going to laugh together to see if we can get some. Amazingly, whether we laugh for real or not, we still get the benefits.
Participants describe feeling energised, yet calmer, centred, motivated & creative after laughing together. After some laughter, we'll harness the good feelings to meditate, dance, write, check-in and hopefully leave with a spring in our step & hope in our hearts! It might be a bit weird, but don't worry, we'll go gently.
Please bring pen, paper, a rubbish joke and a willingness to try something random.
