It's time to see two of Finland's folk-metal titans live on this impressive co-headline bill. Korpiklaani and Turisas land at Islington Assembly Hall in February.
Korpiklaani bring traditional Finnish folk back to life, drawing on mythological mystery and inspiration from the natural world. Their single Harmaja is about a bird who's unable to migrate south for the winter because of a broken wing. So sad.
Named after a warrior god, Turisas add symphonic elements to their sound resulting in something pretty spectacular. As for the lyrics they write about ancient folklore and bloody battles, something for everyone right there.
Get out and catch these two as they ignite the stage.
