**Misnomer + Cam Gallagher & The Tasty Soul live at Eddie's Attic!**

**Misnomer** is an instrumental funk & neo-soul group based out of Atlanta, Georgia. What began as a collective of students from the University of Georgia in 2015 has evolved into a group of dear friends channeling their wide influences of neo soul, hip-hop, funk, jazz, and classical music to create something original. The horn-centric outfit blends jazz fusion, deep funk, instrumental hip hop, and modern classical to create an intoxicating sound that’s unlike anything else in town.” They draw influence from artists like Anderson .Paak, Moonchild, OutKast, Kiefer, Vulfpeck, and Brasstracks.

In December 2022, they released their latest album, Backburner, which showcases their fresh take on instrumental music with deep grooves, satisfying harmonies, and catchy melodies. Misnomer has enjoyed sharing the stage with several national-touring acts such as Here Come The Mummies, Turkuaz, CBDB, Marshall Gilkes, The Werks, Shamarr Allen, Couch, and more. They also have a strong educational focus and have worked with several schools including the University of Georgia, Pope High School, and Woodland High School. Misnomer brings all raw energy and fresh musicianship to every performance that is bound to captivate audiences.

**Cam Gallagher & The Tasty Soul** is one of Nashville’s premier funk collectives, founded in April 2021 by bandleader and tenor saxophonist Cameron Gallagher. Comprised of accomplished musicians with degrees in Composition, Jazz Performance, Commercial Music, and Music Business from prestigious institutions like the University of Utah, BYU, Snow College, and Belmont University, the band boasts an impressive professional resume despite their young age.

Each member, handpicked by Gallagher, has toured extensively across the U.S., Mexico, Cuba, and Europe, performing at renowned festivals such as the Umbria Jazz Festival and the Telluride Jazz Festival. The band members have also collaborated with Grammy-winning artists like Wycliffe Gordon, Victor Wooten, and members of Tower of Power and Snarky Puppy.

Cam Gallagher & The Tasty Soul, guided by Gallagher’s mentorship under Grammy-winning musician Jeff Coffin, delivers a dynamic and professional performance every time they take the stage, blending elite musicianship with infectious funk grooves that will get any crowd moving.
