Slug’s off-kilter indie jams riff across an eclectic series of touchstones. There’s the staccato falsetto of Everything Everything, the pitch-shifting synths of Fol Chen, and the dizzying percussion of his former band, Field Music.

Slug is the project of Ian Black, recently announcing his debut single Cockeyed Rabbit Wrapped In Plastic as a free download and winning praise from the likes of The Line of Best Fit and Stereogum.

His live show features the brothers Brewis, whose expansive experience in the likes of Field Music, School of Language, and The Futureheads guarantee that this new band has no need for beginners luck.
