Electric Jalaba bring their high-energy, mesmerising Moroccan Gnawa funk dance fusion to Summer Sessions at Grand Junction. Acclaimed for their deep psychedelic, groove-heavy sound with a nod to jazz, techno, funk, psychedelic rock and Desert blues.
At the band’s heart is the mesmeric vocals and energetic live performance from the UK’s leading gimbri player Simo Lagnawi, with drummer Dave De Rose and the four brothers, Henry, Oliver, Barnaby and Nathaniel Keen.
Summer Sessions has gone on sale at a reduced 50% capacity, ahead of the possibility of reopening to full audiences on 21 June, subject to government guidance. Safety measures will be in place, including one-way systems to ensure a safe flow of visitors and sanitiser stations. Visitors are required to wear face coverings, unless exempt.
