· The ninth edition of Primavera Sound Porto Festival is postponed until 9th - 11th June 2022

· In order to access the 2022 edition, your ticket must be swapped until the 31st of March 2022.



It is with great sadness that we must announce that the ninth edition of Primavera Sound Porto Festival is postponed to 2022.

We did everything we could to make the festival happen this year, but due to so many remaining unknowns, we felt this was the safest and best possible option for you, the fans.

We had been working closely with the authorities for many months to explore all possible solutions, but things remain unclear surrounding safety for large events. What’s more, the huge logistical restrictions we are currently working under means that we cannot work as normal to prepare the first class festival that you know and love, nor ensure that, once the date arrives, it can be celebrated to the high quality and safety standards we require.

Although it is painful, we know that this is the right decision, especially for those of you who have to plan your trip in advance.

Once again, we are eternally grateful for the collaboration of all the artists, agencies, sponsors, production companies and workers involved. And to the attendees, our family, thank you for your faith and love. We owe you the best edition of NOS Primavera Sound, and we are already working on it.

Following the directives of the current decree law, all holders of tickets for NOS Primavera Sound 2021 do not have the possibility of a refund at the moment, but may, however, request their replacement under the legally established terms.

Under the Decree-Law No. 26-A/2021 of April 5, 2021, which makes the fifth amendment to Decree-Law No. 10-I/2020, of March 26, and establishes exceptional and temporary measures to respond to the COVID-19 disease pandemic in the cultural and artistic sphere, especially regarding unrealized shows, reflects the following, in Article 5B, “Festivals and shows of a similar nature in the year 2021”:

When rescheduling and canceling festivals and shows of a similar nature, the provisions of nos. 4 to 11 of the previous article shall apply, with the necessary adaptations, namely:

a) Vouchers are valid until December 31, 2022;

b) Rescheduled shows must take place by December 31, 2022.

Therefore, all holders of tickets for NOS Primavera Sound 2021 can request a replacement under the legally established terms, in this case for the aforementioned voucher valid until December 31, 2022. This voucher can be used to purchase tickets for NOS Primavera Sound 2022 or other events by the same promoter.

If the aforementioned voucher is not used by December 31, 2022, the holder is entitled to a refund of its value, to be requested within 14 working days.

To exchange your NOS Primavera Sound 2021 ticket, simply log into your DICE account through a browser on your computer, go to the “Tickets” menu, select the NOS Primavera Sound ticket and click on “Exchange Tickets”. All valid options will be presented in this step.

É com muita tristeza que comunicamos que a nona edição do Festival Primavera Sound Porto será adiada 2022.

Fizemos tudo o que pudemos para que o festival acontecesse, mas, devido às incertezas que rodeiam a realização do festival nas datas originais, decidimos que esta seria a melhor opção para todos aqueles que têm de planear antecipadamente a sua viagem.

Mantivemos o contacto permanente com as autoridades locais e com a Direcção Geral de Saúde para explorar todas as soluções possíveis, mas as incertezas permanecem no que toca à organização de eventos desta escala. As várias restrições com que temos de trabalhar, tornam impossível a preparação do festival de classe mundial a que te habituamos, assim como também não é possível assegurar que o evento será celebrado segundo o padrão de segurança necessário.

Mais uma vez, agradecemos profundamente o apoio de todos os artistas, agências, patrocinadores, empresas de produção e todas os colaboradores que lutaram para realizarmos o evento. Aos fãs, à nossa família, obrigado pela paciência e amor. Ficamos a dever-vos a melhor edição do Festival Primavera Sound Porto, e já estamos a trabalhar para que tal aconteça.

No seguimento das directrizes do decreto lei em vigor, todos os portadores de bilhetes para o NOS Primavera Sound 2021 não têm possibilidade de reembolso no momento, podendo, no entanto, solicitar a sua substituição nos termos legalmente previstos.

O Decreto-Lei n.º 26-A/2021 de 5 de Abril de 2021, que procede à quinta alteração ao Decreto -Lei n.º 10-I/2020, de 26 de Março e estabelece medidas excepcionais e temporárias de resposta à pandemia da doença COVID-19 no âmbito cultural e artístico, em especial quanto aos espectáculos não realizados, reflecte o seguinte, no Artigo 5ºB, “Festivais e espetáculos de natureza análoga no ano de 2021”:

Ao reagendamento e cancelamento de festivais e espetáculos de natureza análoga, aplicam-se com as necessárias adaptações, o disposto nos n.os 4 a 11 do artigo anterior, nomeadamente:

a) Os vales são válidos até 31 de dezembro de 2022;

b) Os espetáculos reagendados devem ocorrer até 31 de dezembro de 2022.

Desta forma, todos os portadores de bilhetes para o NOS Primavera Sound 2021 podem pedir a sua substituição nos termos legalmente previstos, neste caso pelo referido vale com validade até 31 de Dezembro de 2022. Este vale pode ser utilizado para adquirir bilhetes para o NOS Primavera Sound 2022 ou outros eventos da mesma promotora.

Caso o vale referido anteriormente não seja utilizado até ao dia 31 de Dezembro de 2022, o portador tem direito ao reembolso do valor do mesmo, a solicitar no prazo de 14 dias úteis.

Para trocar o bilhete do NOS Primavera Sound 2021 pelo referido vale, basta entrar na conta DICE através de um browser no computador, ir ao menu “Tickets”, seleccionar o bilhete para o NOS Primavera Sound e carregar em “Trocar Bilhetes”. Todas as opções válidas serão apresentadas nesse passo.
