If you’ve ever looked at an old document and noticed brown spots on it, what you are seeing are signs of aging. It’s not exactly clear what specifically causes them, but one day, the page will completely brown over and be no more. This is called foxing.
A group of St. Louis musicians took this idea and turned it into a band. Epically beautiful, almost cinematic, Foxing’s forthright lyrical honesty paired with their stunning orchestral sound has quickly earned them a legion of devoted fans. Last time we saw them in London they were over blowing minds with Tigers Jaw, so we’re stoked to have them back in for a second time.
It’s hard to imagine a list of UK math rock bands that doesn’t include TTNG. Formed in Oxford in 2004 their sound has influenced a generation of our favourite bands whilst still somehow sounding as vibrant and fresh as ever. (Mainly because they’re just really really good). They’ve just finished a north American tour with the world is a beautiful place and I’m no longer afraid to die, so expect some serious form.
