Drugs, we've all done them. Legal or illegal. Whether it's a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, a cigarette or a sleeping pill. But how well do we understand the wider effects of the drugs we take on both society as well as our own mental & physical health?

Join psychologist & 'Say Why to Drugs' author Dr Suzi Gage, alongside drug reform activist Danny Kushlick, for a wide ranging talk - where we dismantle an array of common myths around substance use, the harms (and possible benefits) around what we take, as well as what the future might hold for the their existence.

Dr Suzi Gage is a Senior Lecturer and researcher at the University of Liverpool. She makes the award-winning Say Why to Drugs podcast exploring the science around recreational drugs, and has just published a book of the same name.

Danny Kushlick is the former director of Transform Drug Policy Foundation. A former drug counsellor in the criminal justice system, he founded Transform in 1996. He is co-author of After the War on Drugs: Options for Control (2004)
