Mercury nominated Indie rockers turned synth dabblers Wild Beasts are bringing their mad material for a live london showdown in February, start the year right.
When Limbo, Panto landed in 2008, Hayden Thorpe’s theatrical cries pierced our consciousness amidst colourful chords and playful drum patterns. After topping the charts with a slew of critically acclaimed albums, Wild Beasts stepped into the future with 2014’s Present Tense, receiving a huge 10/10 from Line of Best Fit as “the most intelligent, involving and profound record since OK Computer”.
Boy King saw them take their electronic affection one step further. It's an album loaded with sensual admissions, wobbling square waves, and a cosmic air. Their latest drop Punk Drunk and Trembling see's the same, it's a different taint to their older ramblings, same sick vocals and musical talent. Their other-worldly electro is sure to kill it live.
