After recently dropping his debut album, What Do You Think About The Car, a bright eclectic mix of impressive, distorted Pop including his six previous singles, Declan Mckenna is bringing the LP to Leicester.
Previously, all within the space of a year, Declan McKenna released the politically-charged Brazil, went on to win Glastonbury's Emerging Talent Competition, played sold-out shows across the country, and became a darling of the blogosphere.
Prior to his album drop he shared a handful of impressive tracks which it now homes, including Bethlehem and the standout Paracetamol, a touching spaced-out cut that focuses on transgender experiences from the perspective of the media and what they leave out. His next track Kids Don't Wanna Come Home offered another layer to his sound and a more anthemic vibe to his Indie Pop past.
