From his work in The Babies to playing bass in Woods, Kevin Morby has helped shape the sound of underground US indie for the past five years.
Moving to LA from New York, his debut record Harlem River brought in the talents of Tim Presley and Cate Le Bon, while his second follow up Still Life borrowed her bassist H. Hawkline for a stunning ride of Dylan-esque travel tales and glistening, laid back folk rock.
Singing Saw was described by Line Of Best Fit as a "warm, welcoming album... informed by a knowledge of the transience of all things". His newly released fourth LP City Life is a 48-minute ode to concrete jungles, their ups and their downs. Morby brings his pensive folk to Electric Ballroom. Get ready to swoon.
