Taking their name from a This Will Destroy You EP, Nottingham's Field Studies gained a reputation for themselves back in 2013, but it was last year that they really emerged on everyones radar.
Receiving major love from BBC Introducing and now Radio 1, they went on to play at Glastonbury and shared the stunning tracks Blomst and Hibernate, which showcased the groups dreamy soundscapes and sparse production.
Inspired by Radiohead, Sigur Rós and Grizzly Bear, their new Rainmaking EP draws ambience out of pianos, swimming rhythms sections and vocals cast into the distance. Don't miss out on catching the rising stars at Birthdays in October.
