Royal Yellow is the moniker of Dublin-based producer Mark O'Brien. Formerly a core member of Enemies, O'Brien launched debut single 'Hazeldene' in the spring of 2018. Seamlessly blending lo-fi hip-hop with jazz, country, soul and the sounds of old film scores, the genre-defying track gathered immediate acclaim online and has since racked up over half a million streams on Spotify. Live appearances at festivals like Another Love Story and Other Voices soon followed. Fans attending this first Dublin headliner can expect an immersive full-band show featuring skilled jazz players performing against O'Brien's rich tapestry of electronic sound.
"As introductions go, Hazeldene is irresistable" - The Point of Everything
Last year saw Dublin-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Sam Killeen launch SENU, a home for his unique blend of electronic jazz and the darker corners of hip-hop. Debut single "Suffocating" (featuring Loah) immediately led to bookings at Body & Soul, and Electric Picnic, allowing Killeen to morph SENU into an intense and hypnotic live band. More recently SENU shared a unique remix of Tatsuro Yamashita's "Love Talkin'" which has quickly become a dancefloor staple in clubs all over Dublin.
"SENU is further proof that Dublin's music scene is constantly evolving and exploring new territories." - Nialler9
