Slug’s off-kilter indie jams riff across an eclectic series of touchstones. There’s the staccato falsetto of Everything Everything, the pitch-shifting synths of Fol Chen, and the dizzying percussion of his former band, Field Music.

Slug is the project of Ian Black, who released his debut album Ripe earlier this year winning praise from the likes of The Line Of Best Fit who wrote, “Ripe is an album packed with tunes that’ll most likely leave you baffled but, at the same time, unable to stop yourself from dancing.”

His new Kate Bush cover of The Big Sky has the style and swagger of classic David Bowie and live we're expecting a perfectly honed show. Grab a ticket and put on your red shoes.
