About Yama Warashi
With a name meaning "mountain spiriti" in Japanese, Yama Warashi is the solo project of London-based musician Yoshino Shigihara. Her eclectic output is a mish-mash of musical styles – from Japanese folk and free jazz to post-punk, pop and psychedelia.
Event information
Yoshino Shigihara came into 2019 needing a change. The Japanese artist had been based in Bristol ever since co-founding the now defunct Maloya-infuenced raucous psychedelia collective Zun Zun Egui.
