THIS IS A STANDING TICKET. SOLD OUT.
The xx emerged with a new, hyper-emotional brand of r&b with their debut album in 2009, described by Pitchfork as "seductive songs set to spare but effective arrangements". Marking their bold white cross across a whole new generation, Romy Madley-Croft and Oliver Sim's sultry vocals became instantly recognisable.
A lot has happened since the end of the band's tour for second album Coexist. Most notably, producer and percussionist Jamie Smith took over clubs and festivals worldwide with his debut album as Jamie xx, In Colour, with contributions from bandmates Romy and Oliver, along with whispers of recording sessions in Reykjavik, Los Angeles and London for the band's next record.
Returning with Hall & Oates-sampling new single On Hold and third album I See You, their ascent to becoming one of Britain's biggest bands continues at a pace. They play a week of London shows in March. These tickets will go in a flash, don't miss out.
