Dropping out of college at 17 and travelling to Europe, Zach Condon had his first taste of world music, and it's a trip that stuck.
Recording the bulk of debut record Gulag Orkestar in his bedroom at University, upon his return, he incorporated instruments from every corner of his experience, blended folk with baroque pop and a Balkan influence to create a record that defied convention but made perfect sense.
Returning in 2015 with new record No No No, Beirut's first in four years and out on the excellent 4AD label, Condon has once again excelled himself. After smashing a massive headline show at Brixton Academy, this show at Albert Hall is set to be a celebration. Don't miss out.
