Fever Dream: A Rock and Psychedelic Dance Party with DJ Alkimmy (Kim Green).

DJ AlKimmy, aka Kim Green, takes you on a aural trip thru genres and eras much in the way music’s guided her own journey. As a wild child growing up in LA, she was seeing bands and hanging out with musicians before she could run. “We were exposed to everything, I was a full on Sunset Strip rock chick, but we also went to house parties with killer DJ’s, rap battles and basically any of the underground dance clubs that would let us in.” She moved to NYC and got involved in the hardcore scene and saw the EDM world burst open and traveled thru Europe and Asia always looking for that beat, that sound that would get her on the dance floor. She works as a designer and stylist for Fashion and Film, but after one of her legendary Silverlake parties with a particularly exceptional playlist, a friend convinced her to play records at the now recently closed Good Luck Bar and she never stopped. “I play a mix of some of you’re all time favorite songs, often ones you’ve forgotten about, with fresh and deep cuts that you’ve never heard before but are gonna keep playing for a long time to come. It’s a trip. Everyone has a good time.”
