Juniore's impenetrably crisp indie pop reminds us of Vampire Weekend's early days, if they were plagued with a serious affection for California's ever-sunny haze and '60s beach cuts.
Led by French musician Anna Jean, Juniore's debut album adds the already flawless roster over at Burger Records. Lauded by Nylon as "peppy without being cloying, filled with tambourine shakes and insistent bass lines", tracks like Dans Le Noir are dreamily dark.
On August 26th, Old Blue Last will be dripping with the antique intrigue of Juniore.
