Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Kranium moved at a young age to Jamaica Queens, New York, USA. Musically schooled by his uncle, a veteran dancehall artist by the name of Screw Driver, he established himself as an international star from his first single *"Nobody Has To Know"* in 2014. He created his own lane with unique melodies to become the "Melody Gad".

Kranium is known and appreciated to be an excellent song writer, especially when it comes to men's & women's relationship drama. A decade in since his debut, Kranium can proudly looked back at all his achievements so far. He built an amazing catalog with solid hits like *"Nobody Has To Know"*, *"We Can" ft Tory Lanez*, *"Can't Believe" ft Ty Dolla $ & Wizkid*, *"Gal Policy*" - all those songs have received plaques in US, UK and/or Canada. He featured on some massive records with Ed Sheeran, Bebe Rexha, Major Lazer, Jamie XX, and Wiley, and performed live on 5 continents. He is regularly touring - his strongest markets are the US, UK, Canada, West Indies, Africa (Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda & Ghana) and Northern Europe.

Jamaican singer Kranium became one of few reggae acts to sign with a major label after the success of his 2013 dancehall hit, ‘Nobody Has To Know’. Based in NYC, his sound has grown to incorporate elements of Afrobeats, R&B and grime on releases including 2021’s Toxic EP and his collaborations with Ty Dolla $ign and Wizkid.
