Described by MixMag as “The single most influential production team working in British dance music,” and coining the term progressive house with their mix of trip-hop, electronica, dub and big beat, Leftfield’s influence is still massively prevalent today.
They released two genre-defining records; 1995s Leftism with it’s fluid rhythms and pioneering use of guest vocalists, while 1999s Rhythm and Stealth propelled them to number one in the UK album charts.
Breaking up in 2002, Neil Barnes resurrected the name in 2010 with a series of life-affirming gigs. Back this summer, don’t miss this night of legendary dance.
