Packed with burbling synth, River Whyless' LP, Kindness, A Rebel, see's the Asheville-birthed quartet at their highest yet. Their 2016 folk tinged album We All The Light is a solid body, but this is next-level. Packed with even more drive, it's a seriously cohesive listen, and the lyrics carry without wavering. The band said they now "understand that the songs are more important than the egos.", and it shows.
It's a body of work made for the live stage. Take it there.
