Timed Entry are tickets offered at a reduced price that allow entrance to an event within a specific time frame. For example, if you purchase an 11:00PM to 11:30PM ticket, you must arrive between that time frame to get in the venue.
If you arrive later than the time window for the ticket you purchased, then a credit will be applied towards the price of the ticket that is live at the time of your arrival and you will be asked to pay the difference for entry.
*Please see your ticket for specific information regarding time of entry to an event at The Stranger.
We do not process refunds for tickets when they have checked in. In order to receive a refund you must contact DICE prior to an event and provide the number or email you used to purchase the ticket(s).
If there is any further issue or specific circumstance please contact Hello@thestrangernyc.com.
The 303 Room is our basement level dance room with a full bar. Sometimes we collaborate with outside producers and curate special events. When we are hosting a collaborative event, tickets are still purchased through our website/DICE, however, our staff will guide you to the correct entrance upon arrival when this applies.
Additionally, during these events, access to the rest of the venue may be limited until a specific time-- please pay attention to your ticket for more clarification.
*Please note; Basement level access to "The 303" room may not be active or accessible due to collaborative, special events, or ticket sales. Please see our current events for 303 specific events
Collaboration events, or co-pros, are events held at The Stranger in collaboration with another producer or promoter. These events can encompass the entire venue or rooms such as The 303 Treehouse. These spaces are The Stranger but may have separate ticketed events with all or some access to the rest of the venue depending on the event itself.
Examples of co-pro events would be GOODBOY, So Below, Out & Abt, or DragonFly. We do this to extend our totally weird and eccentric Stranger experience to different people and provide cool new experiences in the venue.
If you are a producer with an active base and want to collaborate with us, please reach out to events@thestrangernyc.com.
No, we do not allow anyone under the age of 21 to attend any event at our venue, including any collaborative events with outside producers.
Our security personnel will scan each ID at the door to verify.
We do not enforce a dress code at The Stranger. However, some collaborative events/producers may implement their own and it is up to their discretion how they administer a dress code policy.
At The Stranger we encourage all patrons to dress to express, especially for themed/holiday events like STRANGOWEEN or NYE.
If you want to leave us a voicemail to share a strange story, recite a poem, tell us about a fun night at The Stranger dial (212) 956-2500 and PRESS 7.
*Please note, any offensive or charged remarks will be screened and reported to proper authorities if deemed potentially dangerous. Keep it campy and classy.
