ELVIS COSTELLO: LIVE Q&A WITH JANICE LONG

Rough Trade are extremely excited to present this Interactive Live Stream Zoom Q&A with Elvis Costello joining our very special guest host Janice Long, for an intimate in-conversation. This event celebrates the release of Hey Clockface, the new Elvis Costello album, released via Concord Records.

Hey Clockface was recorded in Helsinki, Paris and New York and mixed by Sebastian Krys in Los Angeles. Recalling the Paris recording session, Costello tells us, “I sang live on the studio floor, directing from the vocal booth. We cut nine songs in two days. We spoke very little. Almost everything the musicians played was a spontaneous response to the song I was singing. I’d had a dream of recording in Paris like this, one day.” The assembled album, Hey Clockface is “An Elvis Costello & Sebastian Krys Production” following on from their work together on Elvis Costello and The Imposters Grammy-winning album Look Now.

Elvis Costello and Janice Long will join us on this live stream webinar for an intimate conversation, discussing the new album and taking questions directly from audience members on an interactive live stream powered by Zoom.

Tickets for this event also include a physical copy of the incredible new album, delivered to your home address by Rough Trade.

You will receive a link for the Live Stream on the day of the event and when the show’s about to start, the link will be accessible on your ticket in-app.
