Benedict Benjamin got to a point in his life where it seemed everything was breaking. He was in two bands that were splitting up, he was working endless night shifts, and his relationship with his girlfriend seemed to be coming to an end.
Rather than just feeling sorry for himself, he poured his heart into writing cuts of love soaked folk that have formed the basis for his debut album Night Songs, set for release in March.
A new direction for the former Peggy Sue member, it's won him praise from Clash, Best Fit and more. He plays this show at The Islington in February.
