ME AND THAT MAN
‘With heavy, black hearts - we must announce that due to the continuing escalations in world events and a travel ban imposed, here in Poland; we’re forced to cancel all upcoming shows in London and Poland.
We are looking to reschedule, but there is still a lot of uncertainty around the virus...plus a lot of schedules to line up.
We’d like to reiterate the message being spread by our friends and colleagues – touring is our main source of income as artists and whilst we will reschedule as many shows as possible, there are inevitably significant expenses artists will have to absorb as a result of these cancellations and postponements. If you want to support musicians during this time, please go to official webstores and pick-up some merch! It helps a great deal!
For now, no show but we will make it happen...by hook or by crook!’
Alternative country/folk duo Me and That Man started as an offshoot project for Nergal; best known as the frontman of Polish black metal group Behemoth.
The band was created as another source of emotional relief for Nergal, allowing him to express thoughts and feelings that he couldn't quite fit into the world of black metal – although some of the prevalent themes were covered, the tone was markedly different from anything he had written before.
Unable to fully realize the project alone, Nergal recruited British/Polish rock musician John Porter to create the sound he was looking for.
Support from Dead Soul.
Presented by Live Nation.
