AIM, the Association of Independent Music, celebrates groundbreaking artists who’ve been given the freedom to develop under their own rules each autumn with their awards night.

At this warm up gig at the Borderline two exciting artists take stage. From Dublin, Gavin James creates the kind of songs that melt in front of you like a sunset. With emotive narratives and a cutting vocal he supports Ed Sheeran this summer.

And opening the night, Rebecca Clements brings her swaggering tales of late night heartbreak and desolation with the confidence of classic PJ Harvey and the intimacy of Cat Power. It’s a night to see new talent on the brink of going big.

Presented by Mike Walsh (XFM) in association with AIM & Club Fandango
