Chugging along in lo-fi grit and giantly simple riffs, Lucy Dacus’ disarmingly upfront lyrics steal your attention on her pervasively stunning cuts like I Don’t Wanna Be Funny Anymore.

Delivered through charmingly nonchalant pronunciation, the Richmond, Virginia native lists all the expectations she’d rather not deal with. Her natural and unsung vocal talent means that one thing she will have to endure is Fader, Pitchfork and 405 singing her praises following the release of her acclaimed debut album, Stranger Torpedo.

With folk tales laid over garage rock soundscapes packed in her pockets, she's taking over Islington Assembly Hall.

If you require a personal assistant to attend the event we do offer a free PA ticket when you attend an event.

Please purchase your ticket in the downstairs area and then send a scan of your proof of eligibility over to assemblyhall@islington.gov.uk including the show you are coming along to.
