Originally on a path to be a sports medicine doctor, Allie decided to move to Nashville after graduating in her senior year of college to pursue her career as a songwriter. She soon realized that she had so much more to say and found pure enjoyment in playing her songs live while captivating her audience with a witty, genuine, and refreshing stage presence. With this knowledge, Allie recorded her first EP "Good As Gone" while still trying to figure out where her sound lies. Finally reaching a point where Nashville was no longer home, she moved back up to Brooklyn. It was here where her roots started to define who she was which ultimately led to this "retro-pop/soul" sound she felt most herself in.

From her uncle Anthony playing Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin on family vacations to her father doing his interesting dance moves in the kitchen to Van Morrison and The Sugarhill Gang, Allie was introduced to the soul, jazz, R&B, and rock genres. From buying vinyl and discovering Lake Street Dive, Allen Stone, and St. Paul & The Broken Bones on her own, Allie combined all those sounds to ultimately curate her very own.

Kelsey Blackstone is a pop-soul and retro-rock musician based in Nashville, TN. She moved from Boston, MA in early 2024 after graduating from the Berklee College of Music. Kelsey has received honors from the New England Music Awards, Berklee, and the United Nations for her music. A fixture of the independent pop-soul and rock scene, she’s performed for sold-out crowds at: NYC’s Mercury Lounge (opening for Lloyiso), the Harry’s Happening Festival in Maine, Sofar Sounds, Deep Dive in Ithaca, PhilaMOCA, University of Rhode Island, Boston’s legendary Club Passim, Skidmore College and more. She’s had features on the Hartford Courant, WERS, Allston Pudding, WRBB, and the Boston Hassle, to name a few. Kelsey has also retained a placement on Spotify’s Retro Soul editorial playlist for her song, ‘When I’m With You’, released in March of 2023. 2024 proves to be Kelsey's biggest year yet with two songs already out; a high-energy and full-band cover of ‘505' as well as an intimate and live solo recording, called 'Leaving Boston' - with more on the way soon.

Kelsey’s music presents heartfelt sentiments and live-instrument sound with a retro, groovy flair. Her songs are rich with excitement, passion, and the kind of infectious energy that makes you get on your feet to dance with your friends. An award-winning songwriter and avid performer, either playing solo shows self-accompanied with her piano or with her 6-piece band, she strives to give all her audiences an inspiring, unifying, and energizing experience. A girl with an Aussie accent in a country town writing pop songs. I was born in Perth but by way of South Africa, New York, and a few ups and downs I’ve found my footing in Nashville, Tennessee. Having moved around my whole life I’ve always had a bit of black sheep syndrome and being in Nashville doing pop music I thought I’d feel no different. Instead, here I found myself in a herd of black sheep and able to create freely and truly for the first time. With a creative community built by my friends, we wrote some of my favorite and most honest songs yet.
