Dan Michaelson And The Coastguards bring their stunning new, folk-spun LP to The Castle Hotel.
Known for his gravelly baritone reminiscent of Jonny Cash, Pitchfork called the frontman's voice as "sturdy as an oak creaking with a certain humanity". Rich with Michaelson’s emotion-filled croons, his voice scratch against the the wash of new album Memory's acoustic core. Third in the album trilogy, the record follows the acclaim of 2013’s Blindspot and 2014’s Distance.
Soak in the sea of Michaelson's voice as he plays Manchester on September 9th.
