Pavel Kolesnikov and Samson Tsoy live together, and alongside flourishing solo careers have been performing as a duo since teaming up at the Royal College of Music only a few years ago. Both multiple prize-winners Having performed internationally with some of the greatest orchestras and renowned conductors around the world we are excited that they are joining us for these two special programmes at Bold Tendencies.
In 2020/21 Pavel will be Artist in Residence at Wigmore Hall. He is collaborating with legendary Belgian dancer Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker on her new choreographic work based on the Goldberg Variations, which will be premiered in August in Vienna. His 6th album, Bach's Goldberg Variations, will be released in the autumn of this year. Samson's 2019/20 season features performances at the Wigmore Hall, the Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Great Hall of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and the concert for the United Nations in New York.
Last year Pavel and Samson started the Ragged Music Festival which met with critical acclaim - the next edition will take place 2 - 4 October in East London.
