Back in May, Patrick Watson released his fifth studio album Love Songs For Robots, which he described as a “science fiction R&B meets Vangelis erotica with a zest of folk kind of record”.
The Canadian's gentle, stripped back sound was filled with deep electronic layers that created an atmospheric journey through folk and orchestral pop. At points eerie, and at times psychedelic, it was an intriguing release.
For this special gig Watson will be performing Love Songs for Robots in full at Islington’s Assembly Hall, so don’t miss out.
