Sylvester returns for Black to The Future 2- the shequel to last year's show of the same name. A bunch of drag artists' takes on afrofuturism. Last episode, in the year 2222, Boy Radio gave us black Barbarella, Iodine Quartz was a c\*nty Yoda, Paris invoked their ancestors and returned as a blue and orange celestial deity, Suburbia's computer got dirty, Julie showed off her sphere of light, and Voxigma Lo processed lots data. We conquered the Funktron 6000, but its babies return to fight the Sylvester fleet 101 years later in 2323. To stop their invincible squadron, the fleet has to kill Funktron 6000 before it ever gives birth. We have to go back, back, BLACK, to the future.

Sylvester- the all black experimental drag review- blends the old with the new, high brow with low brow, camp with intentionality.

Named in honor of Sylvester: the disco and soul gnc legend who forged their own path in the pop cultural landscape of the 70's and 80's. Sylvester found themselves so we could a little faster. Sylvester is a space for queer futurity, for the ancestors, for experimentation, and the funk!
