**ONLY SIBLING**

Only Sibling’s debut full-length Get Well Soon has an introspective self-awareness that sets it apart. Striking a balance between volume and subtlety, aggression and melody, the album explores the challenges of pursuing a passion while trying to maintain the many other aspects of life.

The members of Only Sibling—Alex Basovskiy (vocals, guitar), Jordan Torres (guitar, vocals), Damian LaRocco (bass), and Alex Allen (drums)—met in high school and bonded over their shared love of ‘90s alternative, shoegaze, and emo. Bringing those influences together to make something distinctly their own, they soon released Only Sibling’s 2016 debut EP, What Keeps Me Up At Night. The EP opened the door to signing with Other People Records and the band began pouring themselves into the new material that would become Get Well Soon.

As Only Sibling gained momentum, Basovskiy began feeling torn between everyday life and his devotion to music. “A lot of this record ended up being about trying to figure out.

**STUD COUNT**

Stud Count is a punk band based in Philadelphia. We started in the autumn of 2019 when Matthew wrote a demo of ‘77 style punk songs, originally intending to do vocals, and for me to play guitar and back up vocals. While practicing the songs on an acoustic in west Philly, Matthew suggested I try vocals instead and the whole sound really came together. We got with some friends, had our first practices and really just got started. Pretty quickly we were invited onto a bigger local radio show, released our first demo and played our first show which went super well. Then all of a sudden, quarantine hit and we spent some time outside the city writing and demoing for an LP, eventually releasing a promo tape with Denver’s Convulse Records, and then with Florida’s Smartpunk Records for the LP. We did our first tour around a bigger fest in TX recently, and now we’re rolling out the debut LP and just excited to get out and play more.

**PLIGHT**

Plight is Alternative rock band from Brooklyn, NY. Their debut LP, “Plastic Sun” will be available January 5, 2023 on a La Carte Records.
