CULTIVATING A CREATIVE LIFE WITH RACHEL SERMANNI
I would Love to WELCOME you into this online, weekend Workshop for Songwriting & Cultivating a Creative Life…. Your Creative Life.
The workshop will begin on the evening of Friday the 23rd July, where we will all meet and introduce ourselves, and then run through Saturday and Sunday. On both Saturday and Sunday there will be a morning and late afternoon session with a three hour break in-between.
As a small group of 13 & through the powers of Zoom, I will be your guide & we will explore & traverse various methods, mentalities & practices that have helped me write so many songs over the last 15 years.
A lot of these practices don't necessarily tackle the song itself but more the process that comes Before writing a song. Processes that help to set the scene & create fertile ground for the flourishing of Creation. Meaning that you'll have a load of internalised tools that you can continue to use as you venture out on your own, when our fun filled weekend comes to a close.
This workshop will focus on helping you to notice the voice of your own personal inner critic & how you work with this guy to serve your creative expression. It will focus on growing your confidence in both your intuition and capabilities as a Creative being. We will be exploring the rivers that connect Creativity with the Psyche & the Spirit (whatever that may be for you) through some fun games, through some guided relaxation, through assignments you take with you into sleep.
You will be given the opportunity to have 1:1 attention with me as you write & also the chance to co-create with your fellow workshop journeyers.
This is going to be so much fun. It takes courage to step in. I know that.
But you'll know if you know this is something you want to know deeper.
Look at it like this: this is a chance to explore and express your own self.
How do we do that? Some potential answers: By being in community & being encouraged to enquire into the depth of ourselves. By stepping just a wee incremental step out the comfort zone only to realise we are still safe and held. That's what this weekend workshop will be all about.
Presented by Rachel Sermanni.
