Dylema Collective take centre stage for an intimate performance of Spoken Word Jazz. Dylema (Do You. Let every man adapt) was born and raised in Lagos, Nigera and now resides in the East London. On first arriving to London she found herself feeling isolated by her native sounding tongue which compelled her to dive into and consume the English language in order to better express herself lyrically. She now uses this fine tuned tool called language to blow away audiences across the city. Drawing on issues of race, relationships, sex and men with help from her 3 male backing singers with plenty of humour. The result POWERFUL Sweet neo-spoken-soul. Dope-ass Funk. Multi-sensory killa-jazz. The kinda music that makes your brain and booty dance
The Woods mix ethereal vocal melodies with intricate beats and textured harmonies weaving soulful neo-folk tinged electronica.
Taking us into the early hours we have South East London talent; Footshooter. A twist of Broken Beat, Dub house, Garage, Afro Beat and Jazz.
