Ruby the Hatchet brings together doomy, evil hard rock with occult-flavored psychedelia for a witchy brew of dazzled and ominous cosmic rock sounds. The band's talent for sinister riffs, heavy drums, and organ-flecked rockers grew more refined on albums like 2017's Planetary Space Child or their epic 2022 album, Fear Is a Cruel Master.

Established in 2017 as a trio, and solidified as a quartet in 2021, Heaven Man is a Philadelphia-based psychedelic rock outfit that consists of Andres Gallegos (drums/vox), Dustin Himsworth (guitar/vox), Zach Roumaya (bass), and Jeff White (guitar/steel). Merging influences from the worlds of 60s psych, garage, krautrock, jam & early indie rock, Heaven Man has solidified as a force of live music in the City of Brotherly Love.

Flatwaves is a Philadelphia-based 4-piece garagegaze band on Abandon Everything Records, playing an atmospheric swirl of contemporary psychedelia and retro shoegaze. Their sound is haunting and dreamy with reverb-drenched guitars, heavy back beats, and cavernous vocals. This is music that aims for disorientation, skirting the collective unconscious, in the heat of a desert motel room. Perhaps it was said best by one show-goer:

“Thank God I wasn’t on acid for that set.”
